What We Did

The orig­i­nal kitchen was dark and cut off from the gar­den. Our goal was to cre­ate a bright, open‑plan space that would become the heart of the home. We added a single‑storey rear exten­sion with a pitched roof, incor­po­rat­ing large sky­lights and a set of bifold doors that open onto the patio.

Inside, we installed:

• Bespoke han­dle­less cab­i­nets in a soft grey fin­ish, offer­ing ample stor­age and a clean, mod­ern look.
• Quartz work­tops with a sub­tle vein­ing, pro­vid­ing dura­bil­i­ty and a seam­less sur­face.
• Under­floor heat­ing through­out the new exten­sion, ensur­ing com­fort dur­ing cold­er months.
• A cen­tral island with a break­fast bar and inte­grat­ed appli­ances, includ­ing a wine cool­er and induc­tion hob.
• Recessed LED light­ing and pen­dant lights above the island to cre­ate a warm, lay­ered atmos­phere.

The exist­ing din­ing area was opened up, and struc­tur­al steel­work was installed to sup­port the new roof. All works were car­ried out in com­pli­ance with Build­ing Reg­u­la­tions, and we pro­vid­ed full cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for the elec­tri­cal and struc­tur­al ele­ments.
